How to make your party, dance, event stand out!!
Pre Event Planning: Floor plans, stage size, production, catering, decor are all crucial elements of pre event planning. Careful consideration should be given to all of the above to ensure a successful event.
Venue: For many years Ten Souljers have been performing at special events, weddings, parties, corporate functions, and we can therefore speak intelligently about what makes an event memorable and special. Firstly and crucially, the venue has to be carefully selected according to group size and nature of event. A large vacuous ballroom is an unwise choice for a smaller group size. Similarly, a larger group size will not bode well in a smaller room. We are familiar with every major venue in the city and can guide and advise accordingly.
Theme: Theme is another important consideration. Themed events always seem to be more fun. When the guests dress up in theme appropriate costumes they are already programmed to have fun! People seem to be less inhibited in costume as thought they have found their "alter ego"! 60's 70's and 80's themes are always a big hit and people get to wear old clothes they've been hanging onto for decades!
Speeches: Although necessary, speeches too long in duration can kill a party dead! Try to encourage shorter speeches with entertaining content!
Entertainment: A band can make or break an event. Here at Ten Souljers we provide ourselves on always providing the best cover music in the world. Our songs are selected with maximum consideration to impact on the dance floor, and each one is performed better than the original. We love performing and that becomes obvious to the audience, and our enthusiasm transmits to them advice versa. We always encourage audience participation and always generate a huge, appreciative response. Every band member moves and grooves, has fun and plays their part.
